Emergency Call Alert

This feature lets you enable or disable a sound or vibrating alert when you make an emergency call, such as when calling 911.

To set an alert when you make a call to an emergency number:

  1. Tap Start > Settings > Personal tab > Phone > CDMA Services tab.
  2. Select Emergency Call Alert on the list of available services, then tap Get Settings.
  3. On the Alert Type drop-down list, select Disable call alert, Enable call alert , or Vibrate, then tap OK.

Note: When the device's system volume is set to Vibrate or Silent, all emergency call sound alerts are disabled.
